Job summary

Americhem manufactures and sells thermoplastic color compounds and is seeking a Compounder to join our Dalton, GA Plant. The role sets up and compounds formulations with approved materials according to specs and procedures, on a 3rd shift (12am-8am) Mon-Fri with OT.

Americhem manufactures and sells thermoplastic color compounds and is looking for a compounder to join our Dalton, GA Plant. The Compounder will set up and compound formulations with approved raw material products in a safe and efficient manner according to specifications and procedures.

Shift: 3rd Shift, 12am-8am, Monday-Friday + OT

Pay:Pay starting at $19.25/hr+ with a $1.75 shift differential. Dependent on Experience.

Position Requirements/ Preferred Qualifications

Education: High school diploma preferred.

Experience: 1-2 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing/production preferred.

• Safely operates powered industrial vehicles and moves product to appropriate areas.
• Effectively operates and understands all required compounding equipment that includes blenders and scales.
• Compounds material with accurate weights and measurements.

Additional Position Responsibilities

• Follows all quality system and safety protocols by safely operating equipment, wearing proper protective equipment (PPE), completing safety training, keeping work areas clean and organized, and contributing to established safety goals.
• Effectively manages time and meets deadlines.
