Job summary

Americhem manufactures and sells thermoplastic color compounds and is seeking a Compounder to join our Dalton, GA Plant. The role sets up and compounds formulations with approved materials according to specs and procedures, on a 3rd shift (12am-8am) Mon-Fri with OT.

Education: HS diploma preferred; 1–2 years manufacturing experience encouraged. We offer strong benefits including medical, vision, prescription and dental insurance, 120 hours PTO, a 401k with generous employer match,

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; 1–2 years manufacturing/production experience preferred.
• Safely operates equipment and follows safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follows all quality system and safety protocols by safely operating equipment, wearing PPE, completing safety training, and keeping work areas clean and organized.
• Effectively manages time and meets deadlines.
• Demonstrates organizational skills by working independently and with a team.
