Job summary

Deceuninck North America is seeking a Compound Team Lead for its Monroe, OH facility. This role coordinates and leads day-to-day activities in Compounding and Material Handling, ensuring safe operation and execution of the Compound Department.

Responsibilities include safety audits, training development, reporting, and collaboration with schedulers to meet production needs, while supporting talent development and departmental KPIs.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in manufacturing plant; plastic extrusion or compounding highly desired.
• Knowledge of government regulations including OSHA, EPA, and DOT.
• Proficient in MS programs, particularly Excel and PPT.
• Comfortable with public speaking, developing training visuals
• Must be a self-starter and deadline oriented
• Organized, detail oriented, team player
• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in U.S.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment by complying with all regulations through safety audits and training.
• Contribute to best practice vision, strategy, policies, processes and KPIs to improve performance.
• Supports Production growth and development of departmental talent at all levels.
• Produce written reports and make presentations.
• Work with schedulers, production and TR to ensure Compound needs are met.
• Collaborates with production and scheduling by tracking daily inventories and team member placement.
• Department administrative tasks such as payroll, vacation, shift reporting, and appraisals.
• Suggestions and recommendations on hiring, termination, advancement or other status changes.
• Daily operation and execution in the Compound Department covering Mixer/ Ribbon Blender schedules and material handling.
