Job summary

Prysmian Group in Taunton, MA is hiring a Compound Mixing Crew Member Associate to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. You will operate mixers, batching systems, extruders, and material handling equipment, weighing and blending raw materials to exact specifications while ensuring safety and quality.

You will maintain production records, perform routine maintenance, and support 5S standards to keep the work area organized and efficient.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; technical/vocational training is a plus.
Communication: Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Experience (Preferred): Prior experience in manufacturing, chemical blending, mixing, extrusion, rubber/plastics, or wire & cable industries. Experience with forklifts or SAP systems is highly valued.

Responsibilities

Operate production equipment including manual mixers, batching systems, extruders, and material handling equipment.
Weigh, prepare, and blend raw materials according to precise formulas and schedules.
Monitor production runs and inspect finished products for quality compliance.
Perform routine preventative equipment maintenance and maintain 5S housekeeping standards.
Keep accurate production logs and complete required digital inventory and computer transactions.
