Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation is seeking a production/mfg associate in Massachusetts. The role involves mixing, weighing, dispensing, labeling, and packaging of chemical batches with a 6:00AM-2:30PM schedule.

Attention to detail and safety are essential, with opportunities to participate in quality checks and 5S initiatives. Candidates should have 2+ years of manufacturing experience, the ability to lift up to 40 pounds, and strong basic English skills.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship or Permanent US Resident Status required.
• High school diploma or GED (General Education Degree) required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of Manufacturing experience or batch making required.
• Must have knowledge of weights and be able to use a scale as well as math skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced department and be able to multi-task.
• Effective communication skills; written as well as verbal.
• Ability to read, write, and understand basic English required
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders and Batch cards to determine production specifications and information.
• Precision Weigh Up of liquids, adhesives, paint, and other conductive chemicals.
• Perform Mixing operation to batch card requirements.
• Dispense material into proper containers.
• Print and label required product and complete basic packaging
• Record production information using Day by Hour.
• Perform Quality checks as needed to maintain a clean and safe work area. Sustain Safety and 5S program.
• Other job duties as assigned.
