Job summary

FCC Environmental Services, LLC is seeking a compost helper to assist in the daily operations of the compost department, including surveying loads, equipment maintenance, grounds cleaning, and water truck operation.

Requirements include a High School Diploma, a valid driver's license, and at least 1 year of work experience. You will work in a team-oriented environment with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• At least 1 year of work experience.
• Must work in a team-oriented fashion.
• Must adhere to and follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Survey inbound compost loads for contamination, remove any prohibited items, and notify management when necessary.
• Assist Heavy Equipment Operators with cleaning and maintaining rolling and fixed equipment for daily operations.
• Maintain and clean the Compost Operations grounds to ensure safety and clearance of operations.
• Coordinate with lead point personnel for small projects (such as landscaping, addressing compliance complaints etc.).
• Operate a water truck as necessary for compost operational needs.
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
