You will perform a wide variety of tasks in a manufacturing/production environment at our McKinney, TX facility. Your main duties will include laying up and bonding various composite materials such as pre-preg graphite and fiberglass materials. You also may set up and operate a variety of composite manufacturing tools such as ovens, autoclaves, cut tables, resin inject machines, etc.

What You Will Do
  • Operate process equipment including autoclaves and ovens.
  • Read and follow assembly instructions, engineering diagrams / instructions, and prints.
  • Will be performing repetitive tasks in accordance with established standards.
  • May train and qualify on multiple processes.
  • Flexibility to work across shifts / off shift / weekends as needed to support customer needs.
  • Use of basic hand tools.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Manufacturing experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience with composite materials (pre-preg, resins, graphite, fiberglass, and bagging).
  • Strong safety focus is required.

The salary range for this role is 40,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
