Job summary

Fisica, Inc. in San Leandro, CA, is seeking an entry-level Bonding Technician to join our defense-focused manufacturing team. The role bonds dissimilar materials into finished products and supports assembly operations in a controlled environment.

You will operate autoclave, hydraulic presses, and ovens to complete bonding cycles, monitor conditions, and verify product quality. The position is full-time, on-site with potential for growth and security-clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• Requires minimal job knowledge/skills.

Job Description:

Bonds a variety of dissimilar materials (composite, metal, or laminate) assemblies, parts, skins, components, equipment or structures into semi-finished or finished products. Lays out articles, cuts parts or materials to size. Applies liquid or solid bonding agents. Operates autoclave, hydraulic presses and ovens to complete bonding cycle. Controls conditions of heat, pressure, and timing by setting and operating various controls according to the specifications for the materials and the bonding agent being used. Sands, burrs and smoothes over areas, apply sealing resins to cut or exposed edges. Monitors and verifies quality of finished product. Completes repairs on composite, metal or laminate bonded products using inspection and rework instructions. Verifies quality of finished product.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $38,500 - $71,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
