SEKISUI Aerospace Orange City Operations is hiring production team members for layup, assembly, machining, and finishing in our Orange City, IA location. We offer health benefits, 401k, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and opportunities for career growth.

As a composite technician you will work on hand layup of carbon fiber and fiberglass materials, follow work instructions, and participate in molding operations. Shift options include 1st and 2nd shifts with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to comprehend and follow written specifications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Excellent hand dexterity and coordination.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Hand layup of advanced composite materials on designated tooling per work instructions and customer specs.
• Trim, vacuum-bag, basic repair, material preparation, weighing, finishing, and molding operations.
• Inspection of in-process and finished product using hand tools and simple tests.
• Record keeping of inspection results and time calculations; ensure quality and provide improvement ideas.
