Job summary

CSG Talent is seeking a motivated Composite Manufacturing Technician to support production of advanced composite components in a fast-paced environment near the San Francisco Bay Area. This hands-on role covers fabrication, assembly, inspection, and finishing of high-quality parts.

Work with Engineering and Quality teams to follow drawings and instructions, apply materials, maintain tooling, inspect for defects, and perform repairs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, composites, or technical workshop environment.
  • Ability to interpret and follow technical drawings and documentation.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and standard workshop equipment.
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture and assemble composite components and assemblies per drawings and production requirements.
  • Follow work instructions and manufacturing processes to ensure product quality.
  • Prepare, handle, and apply materials used in manufacturing processes.
  • Assist with development, maintenance, and operation of tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Inspect components and assemblies, identify defects, and perform corrective actions.
  • Perform repairs, rework, and finishing to meet specifications.
  • Move, handle, and store materials, equipment, and assemblies safely.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment per company standards.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production to troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement.

Composite Technician

Location: San Francisco Bay Area

The Opportunity

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Composite Manufacturing Technician to support the production of advanced composite components and assemblies in a fast-paced, cutting-edge manufacturing environment. Working closely with Production and Engineering teams, you will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, inspection, and finishing of high-quality components while adhering to strict quality, safety, and performance standards. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, takes pride in craftsmanship, and thrives in a team-oriented manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manufacture and assemble composite components and assemblies in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and production requirements.
  • Follow established work instructions, technical documentation, and manufacturing processes to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Prepare, handle, and apply materials used throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Assist with the development, maintenance, and operation of production tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Inspect components and assemblies, identifying defects and carrying out corrective actions where required.
  • Perform repairs, rework, and finishing activities to ensure products meet all quality and performance specifications.
  • Safely move, handle, and store materials, equipment, and assemblies throughout the production cycle.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment in line with company standards.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, assembly, composites, or technical workshop environment.
  • Ability to interpret and follow technical drawings, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
