Job summary

CTC Global Corporation in Irvine, CA is seeking an entry-level technician to set up and operate Pilot Lab pultrusion machines for development of composite rods. You will run tests, document measurements, and gather data to support new procedures and product characterization.

Responsibilities include equipment setup, monitoring and recording observations, cleaning and maintenance, preparing resin mixes, handling raw materials, and ensuring safety and proper documentation in Excel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and safety mindset.
• Ability to read gauges and interpret measurements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Pilot Lab equipment in a productive, supervised manner.
• Monitor and document measurements; notify run leaders of discrepancies.
• Tear down and clean R&D machines; maintain the backbone, wet-out systems, and other components.
• Maintain and repair Pilot Lab equipment.
• Prepare resin mixes according to instructions.
• Label and store core; submit core samples to Test Lab as needed.
• Handle chemical waste and old core; ensure proper disposal.
• Document work on appropriate forms and organize data in Excel.
