In this role, you'll help ensure our locomotives and passenger equipment remain safe, reliable and compliant—directly supporting the daily performance of rail services across Los Angeles.
Day‑to‑day, you'll work with maintenance, shop and operations teams to diagnose mechanical issues, complete component repairs and carry out FRA‑compliant inspections. You'll perform troubleshooting on engines, air brake systems, running gear and related equipment, and you'll keep accurate digital maintenance records in accordance with established procedures.
You'll specifically take care of inspecting, maintaining and repairing diesel‑powered rail equipment while interpreting mechanical drawings, schematics and service instructions to complete high‑quality repairs.
