Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manufacturing Technician 1 for the San Diego, CA site. This on-site role operates on 2nd shift (1:00 pm - 10:30 pm) with a 7% differential per hour, and requires a high school diploma with 0-2+ years in composite lay up/bonding in a manufacturing environment.

• High school diploma; 0-2+ years in composite lay up/bonding in manufacturing.
• Experience in composites/manufacturing (space/satellite structures, aerospace).
• Able to read, write and work to written instructions, blueprints, or shop drawings in English.
• Proficient in basic shop arithmetic.
• US Citizenship required.
• Demonstrated Mechanical Ability.

Responsabilidades

• Handle and manage fragile composite materials; prep, lay-up and bonding.
• Layup of uni-directional and weave pre-pregs.
• May report status/progress and interface with other employees and departments.
• Tooling preparation and release application.
• Utilize measurement tools such as calipers, rulers, and tape measures for fabricating hardware.
• Assist in maintaining overall shop appearance and cleanliness.
• Execute to written instructions.
