Nammo Defense Systems, Inc Career Center in Mesa, AZ seeks a Manufacturing Lead to oversee day-to-day operations on the manufacturing line. You will act as the SME for assigned work cells, coordinate training, review master schedules, and ensure safety, quality, and timely production.

The role requires leading meetings, ensuring documentation accuracy, maintaining equipment, and driving continuous improvement while supporting breaks and coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience.
• Ability to obtain BATF clearance to work with products.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proven experience in motivation and training of subordinates.
• Demonstrated continuous improvement experience.
• Ability to solve problems and provide input for performance reviews.
• Capacity to read and interpret procedures accurately and to provide guidance to subordinates.
• Effectively present information to peers and respond to questions from others including management and customers.

Responsibilities

• Strictly follow safety regulations and help ensure all employees act and think safely.
• Become the manufacturing subject matter expert for associated work cells.
• Review production master schedule and assign department workers to tasks.
• Lead daily department meetings and assign required production work.
• Ensure workers are properly trained in accordance with SOPs, policies, and work instructions.
• Ensure production documentation is always accurate.
• Monitor and maintain availability of documentation, tools, materials, and supplies.
• Setup and teardown workstations; ensure equipment is properly set up and conduct minor repairs.
• Ensure production rates and efficiency standards are met.
• Maintain production facilities.
• Document and implement continuous improvement ideas.
• Monitor performance and document employee behavior for supervisors.
• Generate maintenance work orders as needed.
• Troubleshoot production issues.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
