Job summary

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred; college/vocational coursework welcomed.
• Associate degree in related testing or science field; 3–6 years machining shop experience.
• Understanding of specimen preparation and machining concepts.

Responsibilities

• Cut material kits from composite pre-pregs and prepare for testing.
• Fabricate panels, vacuum bagging, and cure composites in an autoclave.
• Mix adhesives for bonding and casting operations.
• Operate cutting equipment to prepare specimens per spec.
• Set up and perform machining tasks per customer drawings and requirements.
• Maintain equipment and schedule preventative maintenance.
• Record dimensions per QA requirements and work with composite materials.
