Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering; 4+ years in the field.
• Experience with filament wound composite pressure vessel design and methods.
• Proficient CAD/drawing standards including GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design for filament-wound composite cases and propulsion components.
• Develop concepts, 3D models, and detailed drawings.
• Perform trade studies and prepare component specifications.
• Coordinate with analysis, manufacturing, project engineering, quality and customers.
• Plan and execute design tasks within an Integrated Product Team.
• Support production on shop floor and supplier locations.
• Address nonconforming hardware and support process planning and reviews.
• Update drawings and specifications through configuration control boards.
• Support environmental and qualification testing and present technical reports.
