Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manufacturing Technician 1 / 2 for its Clearfield, UT location. This position supports the production line with responsibilities involving fabrication and assembly of composite structures. The Technician may work independently or as part of a team on the B shift (4/10 schedule, weekday nights).

Basic qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, proficiency in Microsoft applications, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance. Preferred qualifications include composite experience and the ability to read technical specifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of experience in Aerospace or Manufacturing preferred.
• Must complete 'ASTAR New Hire Training / Compliance' within a reasonable time.

Responsibilities

• Perform fabrication of composite hardware including hand layup and bonding.
• Work in teams or individually on next-generation composite structures.
• Develop skills to produce products that meet customer expectations.

Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft applications

Physical capability including lifting up to 35 pounds

Ability to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance

Composite experience and/or certification

Education

High School Diploma or GED

2 years of experience in Aerospace or Manufacturing environment

Tools

Standard measuring equipment

Power hand tools
