Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking Manufacturing Technician – Coatings 2/3 for operations in Clearfield, Utah. The role involves working on advanced composite structures, including hand layup, bonding, assembly, trimming and finishing to meet customer requirements.

Requirements include LO coating knowledge, respirator qualification, and willingness to work a flexible schedule with overtime and possible weekend shifts. Active DoD Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, and 2 years of relatable aircraft experience in manufacturing/production (or similar).
• LO coating knowledge, including materials, processes, and application.
• Ability to obtain respirator qualification, including fit testing and PPE requirements.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends as needed.
• Pneumatic (air‑powered) tools experience and adherence to standard safe operating practices.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret clearance.

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is looking for you to join our team as a Manufacturing Technician – Coatings 2 or Manufacturing Technician – Coatings 3 based out of Clearfield, Utah.

Clearance Requirement

Active DoD Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

As a Manufacturing Technician you work on the next generation composite structures. This role involves the fabrication of composite hardware using a variety of methods such as hand layup, bonding, assembly, trimming and final finishing. You will develop skills to competently perform tasks designed to produce product that meets our customer expectations. Tasks may be performed in team environments or individually.

Preferred Qualifications

• SMI training/certification.

Salary

Primary Level: $44,400.00 - $74,000.00
Secondary Level: $52,700.00 - $87,900.00

Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, and, for certain senior positions, long‑term incentives.
