Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace is seeking a RS Aircraft Component Repair Tech II in Fort Worth, TX. The role supports the Composite Repair Shop, requiring composite fabrication/repair experience and the ability to read engineering data, maintain quality, and work first shift with flexibility.

Under supervision, you will repair and overhaul assemblies, perform mechanical and electrical repairs, use various tools, and document activities per RS requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; able to interpret blueprints and engineering docs.
• Proficient in using precision measuring tools and shop math.
• 2 years experience in sheetmetal, hydraulic overhaul, electrical/electronic harness work or related roles.

Responsibilities

• Repair and overhaul internal and external aircraft assemblies per RS requirements.
• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs using blueprints and manuals.
• Set up test equipment and perform functional tests.
• Inspect parts to ensure conformity and quality.
• Maintain paperwork in accordance with FAA RS requirements.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
