Gulfstream is seeking an RS Aircraft Component Repair Tech II - Avionics & Batteries in Fort Worth, TX. The role focuses on repairing and overhauling aircraft components in a climate-controlled shop environment, primarily first shift with flexibility for other shifts based on business needs.

The technician must read engineering drawings, use or interpret maintenance data, and perform precise electrical and mechanical work with attention to detail to ensure high-quality results.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years experience in sheetmetal, hydraulic overhaul, electrical/electronic harness buildup, electrical systems troubleshooting, battery servicing, APU removal/install/servicing.

Responsibilities

• Repair and overhaul mechanical and electrical assemblies and subassemblies per blueprints and maintenance data.
• Set up, maintain, and operate test equipment for functional and operational tests of aircraft components.
• Inspect detail parts to ensure conformity with requirements.
• Remove skins and related components on flight controls and secondary structures; locate and install parts.
• Fabricate and repair wiring and electrical assemblies and harnesses as needed.
