Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace is seeking a RS Aircraft Component Repair Tech II - Sheetmetal in GAC Texas RO to repair and overhaul aircraft components within our Fort Worth facility. The role emphasizes sheetmetal fabrication/repair, interpreting engineering data, and using precision measuring equipment to ensure quality.

Under moderate supervision, you will work mainly first/second/weekend shifts with flexibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with ability to read blueprints and engrg docs.
• 2 years experience in sheetmetal, hydraulic overhaul, electrical/electronic harness buildup, or related field.
• Must interpret blueprints, engineering documents and use precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Repair and overhaul internal and external aircraft assemblies per Gulfstream RS requirements.
• Perform repairs of mechanical and electrical assemblies per blueprints and manuals.
• Set up and operate test equipment to perform functional tests of mechanical and electrical aircraft components.
• Inspect detail parts to ensure conformity with requirements.
• Lay out, fabricate and install repairs to flight controls and secondary structures.
