Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace in Tulsa is seeking an Advanced Composites Technician I to join a production team fabricating and repairing composite aircraft parts. You will lay-up, cut, bag, autoclave, trim, and perform repairs as needed in a busy factory setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and at least 1 year of related composite experience. You must be able to read blueprints and interpret a 6" scale, and be able to work the second shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills.
• One (1) year related composite experience.
• Ability to read a interpret blueprints.
• Read and interpret 6" scale.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture composite aircraft parts to meet manufacturing specifications, in a team oriented work environment.
• Read work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches and operation sheets to determine sequence of operations.
• Check all work and ensure a defect free assembly prior to inspection.
• Maintain and use all logs and records (e.g., MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs, DR/DI).
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area, support 5S and safety programs, and comply with lean activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
