Job summary

Indotronix International is seeking a Mid-Level Component Engineer to support hardware development and manufacturing, focusing on packaging and handling instructions to protect component integrity. You will work with procurement, QA and suppliers to address packaging and shipping standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Materials Science or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of component engineering or related experience.
• Strong knowledge of electronic component packaging types and IPC/JEDEC standards.

Responsibilities

• Review datasheets, drawings and specifications to understand constraints.
• Define packaging methods (tape & reel, trays, tubes) and handling instructions.
• Identify MSL and ESD classifications for storage/handling protocols.
• Collaborate with logistics, engineering, suppliers to resolve packaging/config issues.
• Update internal databases/PLM systems and AVL with packaging/compliance data.
• Identify obsolete packaging and non-compliant practices and propose alternatives.
