Job summary

ImpactLife is seeking a Component Processing Technician to support blood product manufacturing. You will handle blood products, manage quarantine and disposal, prepare and label components, and assist with inventory counts. No experience?

They provide paid on-the-job training and opportunities to grow. This full-time, 2nd shift (Monday–Friday with every other Saturday 4:00 p.m.–12:30 a.m.) may require varied hours including days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalencies.
• Previous experience in a medical laboratory, production or manufacturing setting is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow set Standard Operating Procedures.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen are required.

Responsibilities

• Handle blood products including quarantine and/or discarding as needed.
• Prepare and label components and assist with count/maintenance of inventories.
• Collaborate with team to ensure safe, accurate processing of products.

Our Component Processing Technicians are responsible for blood product manufacturing to include handling of blood products, quarantine and/or discarding products, working with biohazardous/chemical waste. This position will also prepare and label components and assist with count/maintenance of inventories. No experience? No problem! We provide an extensive on-the-job paid-training program.

This is a Full Time position working 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday and every other Saturday 4:00 p.m.-12:30 a.m. plus a holiday rotation. This position may require the ability to work varied hours including days, evenings, and weekends.

Training on 1st shift for several weeks may be required.
