Amentum is seeking a Computer Engineer to support electrical test automation and development for the strategic microelectronics lab at Naval Surface Warfare Center - Crane. The role targets entry to mid-level engineers contributing to automated testing, data collection, and analysis of microelectronics components.

Responsibilities include developing software with Python, LabVIEW, and JavaScript, while coordinating with test engineers to meet testing requirements and improve methodologies.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, CS, or related field.
• Strong Python and LabVIEW programming.
• Unix/Linux proficiency including command-line tools & shell scripting.
• Git version control proficiency.
• Experience with Visual Basic, Visual C++, or JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Python, LabVIEW, Visual Basic, Visual C++, and JavaScript.
• Create and manage automated scripts to control electronic test equipment for validation and characterization.
• Implement automated data collection processes ensuring data integrity.
• Develop tools for data review, post-processing, and analysis.
• Assist test engineers with data collection, review, and troubleshooting.
