Job summary

Mercor is seeking experienced Electrical Test Automation Engineers for a short-term project. You will design automated test systems, integrate instruments, and develop data analysis workflows to validate electrical hardware.

Responsibilities include functional, regression, and HIL testing, plus troubleshooting test setups and ensuring methods meet project requirements. Strong hands-on lab experience and proficiency with Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, or C/C++ are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with automated electrical test systems and lab instrumentation.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and test specs.
• Experience with test automation, data acquisition, and instrument-control protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test systems, procedures, and sequences for electrical hardware.
• Integrate test instruments, data acquisition systems, and hardware interfaces to automate measurements.
• Develop test scripts, automation frameworks, and data analysis workflows.
• Perform functional, performance, validation, regression, and HIL testing where applicable.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot hardware and test setups, and identify root causes of failures.
• Review and validate test methodologies and results against project requirements.
