Job summary

Employment Solutions is seeking a motivated component fabricator to join a local manufacturing team in the Town of Dix, NY area. The role involves fabricating and assembling components from raw materials using a variety of tools and techniques, with emphasis on precision and quality.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, measuring parts, operating presses, saws, lathes, and grinders, plus MIG/TIG welding and assembly.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in a fabrication environment.
• Strong blueprint and technical drawing interpretation.
• Familiar with industrial tools and machines.
• Welding and machining experience.
• Basic math and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and work instructions.
• Measure, cut, and prepare raw materials (metal, plastic, etc.).
• Operate fabrication equipment (press brakes, saws, lathes, mills, grinders).
• Perform welding (MIG, TIG, Stick) and forming processes.
• Assemble components using fasteners, welding, or adhesives.
• Deburr and finish parts to quality standards.
• Inspect parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Maintain tools and adhere to all safety procedures.
