Job summary

Staab Construction Corporation is seeking a Components Fabricator to support production and fabrication by manufacturing, assembling, modifying, and repairing metal components and equipment. The role uses welding equipment, waterjet cutting, press brakes, shears, bandsaws, and material handling tools in a fast-paced shop environment.

You will maintain production schedules, ensure material traceability, manage inventory, and assist shipping/receiving while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read fabrication drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with welding and metal fabrication processes.
• Experience operating fabrication equipment such as waterjets, press brakes, shears, bandsaws, and forklifts preferred.
• Knowledge of material handling, inventory control, and shipping/receiving practices.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to perform layout work and precision measurements.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

This position performs a variety of fabrication duties utilizing welding equipment, waterjet cutting systems, press brakes, shears, bandsaws, and material handling equipment. The role is responsible for maintaining production schedules, ensuring material traceability, managing inventory, and supporting shipping and receiving activities while adhering to company safety and quality standards.
