Job summary

Jain Global LLC is seeking a Software Engineering Intern for its Compliance Technology team in New York. You will design, build, and ship a scoped project that automates a compliance process, working with senior engineers and compliance officers.

The role involves data ingestion, dashboards, tests, and a user-facing interface. The project will be selected from the 2027 roadmap, with responsibilities across data pipelines, rules engines, and auditable systems.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in CS/SE with expected graduation in 2028.
• Proficient in Python or another general-purpose language; knowledge of Java or C# acceptable.
• Familiar with SQL and relational databases; experience with Git and data structures is expected.

Responsibilities

• Translate compliance policies into a technical design with stakeholders.
• Write clean, production-quality code in Python and SQL; perform front-end work as needed.
• Build dashboards or interfaces to present compliance metrics and exceptions clearly.
• Validate outputs against manual results to ensure accuracy and auditability.
• Present progress in weekly check-ins and demos.
