Job summary

Jain Global seeks a Software Engineering Intern for the Compliance Technology team in New York for Summer 2027. You will design, build, and ship a well-scoped project that automates a manualCompliance process, working with compliance officers and engineers.

You will write production-quality code, handle real data, and contribute to a tool used by the team. Projects fall into two areas: internal monitoring data pipelines and team metrics/reporting, with dashboards and automated tests.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor's degree in CS/Software Eng or related field, graduation expected 2028.
• Proficient in Python or other general-purpose language (Java, C#, etc.).
• Familiar with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with Git and data structures/algorithms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate policies and compliance requirements into a technical design with stakeholders.
• Write clean, tested Python and SQL code; front-end work as needed.
• Build dashboards or interfaces giving clear views of exceptions or metrics.
• Validate system output against manual results to ensure accuracy and auditability.
• Present progress in weekly check-ins and demos.
