Chevron Corp. in the United States seeks an experienced Compliance professional to lead a team responsible for evergreen compliance frameworks across a major region, including anti-bribery, conflicts of interests, business conduct and ethics, and international trade laws.

The role emphasizes leadership, training delivery, and cross‑functional collaboration with stakeholders to ensure policy adherence and timely corrective actions in a large, complex enterprise.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Accountancy, Business, or Law.
  • Post graduate professional designation (e.g. CPA, Chartered Accountant, MBA).
  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar capacity or in a professional services audit or consultancy environment (i.e. Big 4).

Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership and guidance to a team of compliance analysts within Eurasia to ensure that Chevron’s Corporate policies and procedures are deployed and sustained in a complete and effective manner across the Region.
  • Provides work direction, builds organizational capability and subject matter awareness amongst compliance professionals and stakeholders alike through delivery of compliance training and adhoc guidance and advice. Actively sought as a Subject Matter Expert to advise functional stakeholders to ensure business processes meet Compliance policy and procedural expectations.
  • Provides timely, well considered and accurate guidance to business stockholders in the application of compliance requirements to real-time business transactions and activities.
  • Manages relationships and effective interactions with business stakeholders and leadership teams, assists with the coordination of Compliance Committees, Risk Assessments, and Representation Letters.
  • Facilitates the resolution of matters associated with Business Conduct and Ethics Code, Investigations and other matters of sensitivity.
  • Supports Regional Compliance Manager in assessing and analyzing the Business’ compliance environment, identifying issues, making recommendations on corrective actions and ensuring those actions are implemented on a timely basis.

Job description

Chevron is accepting online applications for the position through October 15 at 11:59 p.m.

We expect to hire an experienced Compliance professional who have previously held key roles in deploying and maintaining evergreen Compliance frameworks within similarly large, complex corporate enterprises or organizations.

Compliance topics include Anti-Bribery and Corruption (US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (and various local equivalent legislations), Conflicts of Interest, Business Conduct and Ethics), as well as U.S. Antiboycott, International Trade and Antitrust/Competition Law reporting.

Relocation Options:

Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters.
