Job summary

Cahec-Management-Inc is seeking a Compliance Specialist to work with site staff across CMI managed properties in New York. You will promote and meet the compliance goals by reviewing monthly reports and certifications to ensure adherence to state and federal regulations.

You will serve as a resource to property managers, answering compliance questions, reviewing documentation, monitoring deadlines, and providing guidance on proper procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in an office environment with regular interaction with teammates.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of affordable housing programs and regulatory requirements

The Compliance Specialist is responsible for working directly with the site staff to promote and meet the compliance goals of all CMI managed properties. The Compliance Specialist regularly reviews monthly reports and certifications to ensure the properties are following State and Federal Agency regulations.The Compliance Specialist serves as a resource to property managers by answering compliance questions, reviewing documentation, monitoring deadlines, and providing guidance on proper procedures.
