The role involves advising on compliance topics, translating requirements into practical guidance for international operations, and collaborating with teams across countries. A potential transition to a permanent position may be considered based on business needs.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in regulatory compliance or related function.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulatory frameworks (GDPR, DORA, NIS2).
  • Strong English written and verbal communication, ability to document and articulate topics.

  • Assessing and evaluating concrete compliance topics, risks, and obligations.
  • Reviewing contracts from a regulatory compliance perspective.
  • Providing guidance on regulatory frameworks including GDPR, DORA, NIS2, and AI Act.
  • Maintaining and maturing policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Identifying gaps and driving remediation actions.
  • Driving and supporting compliance-related projects and initiatives.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Compliance Specialist to support our regulatory compliance activities, ensuring that our operations align with applicable laws and regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, DORA, and NIS2 at Group level.

If you enjoy working with and advising on compliance matters, assessing concrete compliance topics, and translating regulatory requirements into business-relevant guidance in an international environment - this role is for you!

emagine Group operates in 15 countries, and the Group Risk and Compliance function is responsible for defining, implementing, and maintaining the regulatory compliance framework for the entire Group.

As a member of this team, you will collaborate with colleagues across different countries on diverse, international initiatives.

The role may potentially be converted into a permanent position; however, no commitment is made and any such decision will be subject to business needs and assessed during the contract period.

Responsibilities:
  • Acting as a trusted advisor on regulatory compliance matters across the organization,
  • Assessing and evaluating concrete compliance topics, risks, and obligations,
  • Reviewing contracts from a regulatory compliance perspective,
  • Providing guidance on regulatory frameworks including GDPR, DORA, NIS2, and AI Act,

Requirements:
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulatory compliance frameworks,
  • Hands‑on experience with GDPR and other EU regulatory regimes (e.g., DORA, NIS2),
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in regulatory compliance or a related function,
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly assess, document, and articulate compliance topics.
What will be an advantage:
  • Degree in law or a related field with a regulatory focus,
  • Demonstrated experience advising on EU regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, DORA, NIS2) in a corporate or Group context,
  • Experience working with regulatory assessments, supervisory expectations, or compliance reviews,
  • Proven ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical, business‑relevant guidance in an international environment.
