Job summary

MaineGeneral Medical Center is seeking a Compliance Specialist to oversee the MaineGeneral Health Compliance Program, providing expert guidance to departments and ensuring alignment with federal and state regulations. You will act as a compliance resource, audit clinical documentation and revenue cycle processes, and develop and deliver compliance education across all workforce levels.

Job Summary

As a Compliance Specialist, you will oversee the MaineGeneral Health Compliance Program, providing expert guidance to departments and ensuring alignment with federal and state regulations.

  • Research coding, billing, and documentation requirements to support departments.
Qualifications
  • Exceptional communication and critical‑thinking skills, attention to detail, resourcefulness, and a commitment to process improvement.
  • Solid research skills to find reliable sources quickly and accurately.
  • Even‑keeled manner, self‑awareness, and baseline decision analysis.
  • Preferred background in a health system’s Revenue Cycle operations.
  • Moderate proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Schedule

Scheduled weekly hours: 40. Scheduled work shift: Job exempt.
