Job summary

Ampere Computing, a leader in energy-efficient AI compute, is seeking an experienced Compliance professional to bolster its in-house program. You will drive risk assessments, update policies, and coordinate training while supporting investigations and reporting to leadership.

This role requires 5+ years in compliance or related fields, with strong collaboration across functions in a fast-paced tech environment. A focus on governance and regulatory awareness will be essential to success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in compliance or related fields (legal operations, risk management, investigations, or internal audit).
• Experience in in-house compliance, law firms, or regulatory settings.
• Familiarity with anti-corruption, third-party risk, information security, privacy, and governance in tech/semiconductor contexts.
• Ability to manage projects with limited oversight and meet deadlines.
• Sound judgment, integrity, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.
• Adaptable to fast-paced, evolving environments and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to build relationships across functions.

Responsibilities

• Support development and enhancement of the company's compliance program under the CCO.
• Assist with periodic compliance risk assessments to identify key risks and priorities.
• Update and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and guidance materials.
• Coordinate and deliver compliance training and awareness for employees.
• Conduct third-party risk management, due diligence, and risk reviews.
• Manage intake and triage of the ethics/compliance helpline and support investigations.
• Support monitoring, testing, and internal reporting to senior stakeholders and the Board.
• Assist with legal entity management and subsidiary governance tasks.
• Track regulatory developments and translate them into operational requirements.
• Partner with stakeholders to promote integrity and ethical business conduct.

What you’ll achieve:

• Support thedevelopment, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of the company's compliance program under the direction of the CCO.
• Assist withperiodic compliance risk assessments to identify key risks and inform program priorities.
• Update and maintain compliance-related policies, procedures, and guidance materials.
• Coordinateand deliver compliance training and awareness initiatives for employees.
• Conduct third-party risk management processes, including due diligence and risk reviews.
• Manage the intake and triage of the company’s ethics and compliance helpline. Support internal investigations of compliance and ethics matters, from planning and fact-gathering to reporting and remediation.
• Support compliance monitoring, testing, and internal reporting to key senior stakeholders. Prepare routine metrics and reporting materials for management and the Board of Directors on program performance and key risk indicators.
• Assist with legal entity management and subsidiary governance, including tracking corporate records and managing ongoing reporting requirements forkey stakeholders.
• Track regulatory developments and emerging compliance risks relevant to the company's business and industry and help translate them into practical operational requirements.
• Partner with stakeholders across the company to promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and ethical business conduct.

About you:

• 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in compliance, or in a related field such as legal operations, risk management, investigations, or internal audit.
• Experience in an in-house legal/compliance function, law firm, consulting firm, accounting firm, or government/regulatory organization.
• Familiarity withkey compliance risk areas, such as anti-corruption, third-party risk management, information security, trade compliance, privacy, competition law, and/or corporate governance, particularly in the context of the technology or semiconductor industries.
• Proven ability to manage projects independently and drive work to completion with limited oversight.
• Soundjudgment, impeccable integrity, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to communicate clearly to a wide range of audiences.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment where priorities shift.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across functions.

The full base pay range for this role is between $119,000 and $179,000, except in the San Francisco Bay Area where the range is between $133,500 and $200,500.
