Job summary

A leading technology consulting firm is looking for a Compliance Professional 1 with expertise in U.S. Customs procedures and trade compliance. The ideal candidate will possess skills in HTS classification and for USMCA certifications. This role offers the potential to become remote after initial training at the Alpharetta site. Applicants with a strong command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and data analytics experience are preferred. Proficiency in English is required, with Spanish being a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct HTS classification and ensure compliance with U.S. Customs regulations.
• Handle U.S. Customs entry writing and in bond transportation.
• Prepare reports for Partner Governing Agencies.

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented US import Trade Compliance Specialist to join our team. This role requires a strong understanding and experience of the following:

• HTS classification.
• USMCA certifications and regulations.
• U.S. Customs procedures.
• U.S. Customs entry writing.
• In bond transportation.
• Foreign Trade Zones.
• Bonded Warehouse.
• Partner Governing Agency reporting.
• Microsoft Office Suite and ability to quickly learn custom software. With a proficient to high level skill in MS Excel.
• Proficiency in English require with Spanish proficiency being a plus.
• Any Data Analytics experience would be a plus.

This position can become remote for the right candidate. However, they will need to start training at the Alpharetta site.
