Role Overview

As a Compliance Operations Analyst, you will help reduce risk by conducting daily transaction monitoring and reviewing identity verification details for individuals and businesses. Your focus will be on ensuring compliance with regulations such as the Customer Identification Program (CIP), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and various global watchlists. Responsibilities include verifying customer documents and identifying potential risks and fraudulent activities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Review alerts generated by our case management system for potential transaction fraud, unusual activity, and identity checks.
  2. Analyze customer accounts and transactional data to identify potential fraud.
  3. Maintain detailed notes of manual reviews, complying with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  4. Contribute to ongoing process improvements.
  5. Participate in ad-hoc investigations and project work as needed.
Qualifications
  • Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings and weekends.
  • Proactive in executing processes, troubleshooting system issues, gathering data, and identifying process gaps.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, make decisions, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with identity verification and fraud detection tools is a plus.
  • Experience with fraud detection, BSA/AML, OFAC, and CIP regulations is a plus.

Compensation

The hourly rate for this full-time contract position ranges from USD $25.00 to $30.00, depending on role, level, and location. Salary within this range will be determined by work location, skills, experience, training, and other factors.
