Job summary

University of Hawaii FCU is seeking a Compliance Officer to develop, administer, and monitor programs ensuring compliance with laws and regulations governing operations and products. You will inform staff and senior management and evaluate risk exposure related to compliance.

This exempt, on-site role reports to the Vice President, Member Support and offers a comprehensive benefits package including on-demand pay, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent work experience.
• Must be proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Knowledge of financial institution regulations.
• Experience in writing policies, manuals and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Reviews to ensure the credit union's operations are in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Develops and implements ongoing compliance training programs.
• Assists with the Bank Secrecy Act and Red Flags Program.
• Interprets and disseminates information on regulatory matters in a timely manner.
• Ensures that forms and disclosures are in compliance with NCUA rules and regulations.
• Creates and manages a compliance program, to be continually maintained and monitored.
