Job summary

University of Hawaii Federal Credit Union is looking for a Compliance Officer to lead regulatory adherence and risk management within the Compliance Department.

The role develops, administers and monitors compliance programs, provides training, and collaborates with senior management to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential; Hawaii-based office with standard business hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and financial institution regulations.
• Experience writing policies, manuals and procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develops and monitors compliance programs and training.
• Interprets and disseminates regulatory information to staff and management.
• Ensures forms and disclosures comply with NCUA and other regulations.
• Assists auditors and examiners during reviews.
• Supports risk management and vendor due diligence activities.
