Job summary

Civicworks in Indiana is seeking a Compliance Officer to conduct inspections and investigations of licensed pharmacy facilities, ensuring safety and adherence to state statutes. You will monitor pharmaceutical regulations across northwest Indiana and address diversion and impairment issues to protect public health.

The role requires driving to facilities, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to pass FBI background checks.

Qualifications

  • Six years of work experience in program coordination, development, implementation, or related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and driving record to operate a state vehicle.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Ability to pass FBI criminal background check.

Job description

The Compliance Officer conducts inspections and investigations of licensed Indiana pharmacy facilities to ensure they operate safely and comply with state board statutes and rules. This position protects public health by monitoring pharmacy facilities, investigating diversion and impairment issues, and enforcing compliance with pharmaceutical regulations across a geographic area in northwest Indiana including counties like Lake, St. Joseph, and Tippecanoe.

Key qualifications:
  • Six (6) years of work experience in program coordination, development, implementation, or accredited college training in a related field
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and driving record to operate a state vehicle
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
  • Ability to pass FBI criminal background check
