Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Compliance Manager, Card for a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This remote US role will own compliance advisory for the consumer card program and guide the business through regulatory questions in a fast-moving environment.

The position partners with Product, Legal, Risk, Testing, and other teams to support launches, reviews, exams, and governance. Deep financial services compliance expertise and strong judgment are essential.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of compliance advisory experience within financial services.
  • Deep knowledge of EFTA (Reg E) and TILA (Reg Z)/CARD Act; familiarity with Reg DD and UDAAP.
  • Proven ability to operate independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Experience collaborating closely with Product teams from early development stages.
  • Track record of managing issues from root-cause analysis to sustainable remediation.
  • Strong communication skills to present complex regulatory issues to non-compliance audiences.
  • Self-directed with strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Apply regulatory knowledge to navigate novel compliance questions.
  • Review and approve marketing materials and disclosures for compliance.
  • Lead root-cause analysis and remediation for compliance issues.
  • Collaborate with Compliance Testing, Legal, and Risk in support of regulatory exams.
  • Maintain compliance risk assessments and proactively identify gaps.
  • Develop training materials on card regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as the compliance subject matter expert on new card features.

For our client, we are seeking a Compliance Manager, Card to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will own compliance advisory for a consumer card program and help guide the business through complex regulatory questions in a fast-moving environment. The position partners closely with Product, Legal, Risk, Testing, and other cross-functional teams to support launches, reviews, exams, and ongoing governance. The right candidate will bring deep financial services compliance expertise, strong judgment, and the ability to turn regulatory requirements into practical business solutions.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $128,000 – $188,000 annually

Responsibilities
  • Own compliance advisory for the consumer card program across various functions
  • Make independent, risk-based decisions in ambiguous situations

  • Experience collaborating closely with Product teams from early development stages
  • Track record of managing issues from root-cause analysis to sustainable remediation
  • Strong communication skills to present complex regulatory issues to non-compliance audiences
  • Self-directed with strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
