Job summary

Kinsley Power Systems seeks a compliance professional to help ensure regulatory adherence in our Nevada operations. You will support training, enforcement of compliance programs, and reporting to management. Prior Title 31 knowledge is valued.

The role requires strong organizational skills, collaboration across teams, and the ability to adapt to shift work including nights or weekends when needed.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of State of Nevada NRS and NAC regarding LET, Gaming Control Board regulations and MICS, and Federal Title 31 requirements.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain compliance with internal guidelines, regulations and ethical expectations.
  • Monitor business operations and report infractions.
  • Review policies for risks and liabilities.
  • Assist in training and enforcing gaming compliance programs (Title 31).
  • Support other compliance tasks and Federal Title 31 processes.

Job description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for keeping the company’s activities within the guidelines, regulations and ethical expectations.
  • Monitor business operations and reporting infractions.
  • Constantly review company policies for possible risks and liabilities.
  • Responsible for assisting in the training, implementation, and enforcement of the property SARC/Title 31 and Responsible Gaming compliance programs.
  • Aid other members in compliance department with completing any other GCB regulatory tasks and Federal Title 31 processes.
  • Responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance within area of authority and reporting potential issues to management.
  • Attend meetings as required.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and company matters.
  • Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
  • Knowledge of State of Nevada NRS and NAC regarding LET, Gaming Control Board regulations and MICS, and Federal Title 31 requirements.
  • Must understand information system structure, set up and stay abreast of new technology.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines in managing assigned processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products: Project, Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher and Outlook.
  • Ability of complex reading, writing, math, and task completion skills is required.
  • Must have the following skills: clerical, compiling, coordination, analyzing, supervising, instructing, precision working, following instructions, influencing others, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making.
  • Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES
  • Must be able to maintain appropriate Gaming License & Alcohol Awareness card.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly sitting, standing, and occasionally walking, reaching overhead, bending over, crouching, kneeling and balancing during the duration of their shift.
  • Must be able to occasionally push/pull 50lbs or less.
  • The team member will constantly have repetitive use of both feet and hands. Team member will have constant light grasping motions and occasional firm/strong grasping motions. Finger dexterity of both hands will be constantly required.
  • Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Work performed indoors, alone and frequently with and around others. Team Member will perform work face-to-face including verbal contact with others on extended shifts around computer equipment and other electrical devices.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
  • Team Member may be exposed to confined areas, moving objects, and secondhand smoke.
