Circa Las Vegas is seeking an Assistant Casino Shift Manager to supervise all table gaming on assigned shifts and ensure proper staffing and compliance with internal controls and Title 31 regulations.

You will act as a customer relations representative, maintain relationships with guests and peers, and support the Director of Table Games. Strong communication and prior gaming experience are essential.

JOB TITLE:

Assistant Casino Shift Manager

DEPARTMENT:

REPORTS TO:

Casino Shift Manager / Director of Table Games

JOB SUMMARY:

Supervises all table gaming on an assigned shift. Conducts surveillance of gaming to ensure all areas are properly staffed with competent personnel. Observes games operations to ensure compliance with the department's system of internal controls, company policies and procedures, Title 31 and with the state gaming regulations. Has the authority to issue markers to players authorized for credit and provide complimentary privileges. Possess the ability to obtain and retain desirable customers. Acts as a customer relations representative for the casino. Maintains a good working relationship with subordinated, peers and executives of the company.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Responsible for practicing, supporting and promoting the Company Service Standards at all times
• Responsible for company assets
• Responsible for all rules, policies and procedures related to all gaming and casino credit activity, and ensuring that all shifts are consistent in adhering to the same rules, policies and procedures
• Work in direct cooperation with the Surveillance and Internal Control Departments to ensure asset protection nd the continued profitability
• On an episodic basis performs the duties of the Table Games Shift Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, and Management in both written and verbal form
• At least (5) years' experience in progressive gaming experience is required.
• Excellent verbal, written communication skills, Team Member and Guest relations skills, organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks
• Ability to work any shift or hours
• Effective working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, with knowledge of and experience with electronic gaming and player tracking management and support systems preferred
• Full knowledge of all Title 31 and applicable Gaming Control Board regulations
• Ability to obtain/renew all government required licenses or certifications, specifically a Nevada Gaming License
• Must be 21 years if age

EDUCATIONS and/or EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
• Must be able to stand or walk for prolonged time periods.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
• Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.
• Work is typically in an area which may be noisy and may contain secondhand smoke.
