Job summary

Property Solutions & Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Compliance Manager in affordable property management to oversee all funding compliance activities in the Twin Cities region.

You will review certifications, prepare year-end reports for funders and monitoring agencies, and train staff on compliance procedures. The ideal candidate has LIHTC/PBRA experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review certifications and prepare year-end and annual reports for funders and monitoring agencies.
• Assist site staff in preparing for compliance reviews and monitoring.
• Provide staff training on compliance processes and procedures.
• Support extensive file reviews and audits and ensure accuracy.

Property Solutions & Services, Inc has been providing innovative professional property management and consulting services to affordable housing developments in the Twin Cities Metro Area.

We are looking for an experienced Compliance Manager in affordable property management to join our team of dynamic innovative professionals and to assume responsibility for overseeing all areas of funding compliance. Our ideal candidate is an energetic, detail-oriented, professional with extensive LIHTC and PBRA compliance experience work, who enjoys working independently, and is looking to advance their career and grow with our firm. The responsibilities of this position include: reviewing all certifications, preparing year-end and annual reports for funders and monitoring agencies, assisting site staff in preparing for compliance reviews, and providing staff training.

The successful candidate will have:

• Valid driver's license and insured, and reliable transportation
• Bachelors degree
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Computer competence
• Excellent problem solving, multi-tasking and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to work as a positive member of a professional team
• Ability to pass a background check

Required Experience/Skills:

• has been a compliance manager/reviewer for LIHTC PBRA
• AHM or comparable certification for LIHTC or section 8 training

Desired Experience/Skills:

• 2-5 years in LIHTC and/or PBA housing, specifically completing file reviews
• Preferred COS

The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.

This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule of up to 60% remote and 40% in-office or property site visits following the initial 90-day period, subject to approval by the Director of Compliance.
