• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to conduct fact-finding research and analyze data
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background investigation and fingerprinting

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process medical and allied health complaints, including hospital and nursing home reports, malpractice settlements, and consumer complaints against Florida health care licensees
• Investigate cases, issue citations and subpoenas, prepare reports, and represent the agency at hearings and board meetings
• Prepare written findings and recommendations for review by supervisors and boards
• Coordinate with licensees, healthcare facilities, and other agencies to gather information and ensure compliance
