Job summary

Clean Harbors Kimball is seeking a Compliance Inspector to evaluate and document compliance with Regulatory Operating Permits and Federal/State regulations. The role includes daily inspections, LDAR monitoring, and cross-training to support Train 2 Inspectors. Day shift, 45 hours per week, with OT by approval. Wage is $26 hourly, paid weekly.

The position emphasizes health and safety, training, and participation in Subpart BB/LDAR programs, with opportunities for growth within Clean Harbors.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent- required.
  • Background check, drug screen and physical- required.

We Build with Passion- Clean Harbors Kimball, NE Incineration units are seeking a Compliance Inspector who is responsible for evaluating and documenting compliance requirements for the operations area to maintain regulatory requirements defined in Regulatory Operating Permits and Federal/State Regulations. Position will cross-train to support Train 2 Inspectors and assist in Subpart BB audits as necessary. Day shift, Monday-Friday, 45 hours per week, OT requires prior approval, Wage $26 hourly pay, paid weekly.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Execute daily compliance inspections, including all necessary documenting and reporting.
  • Perform required daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring tasks (Hydrocarbon, PSV)
  • Conduct weekly opacity monitoring
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual Subpart BB/LDAR monitoring programs
  • Maintain proper LDAR tag information & ensure correlation to P&ID’s (audits may be completed as required)
  • Assist with compliance training for area operators as needed
  • Assist with compliance training for area operators as needed
  • Conduct and document safety inspections for selected areas
  • Attend training and maintain certifications for equipment operation/inspections as needed
  • Other Compliance Inspections/Monitoring that may be required as needed
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management and as required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent- required
  • Punctuality and consistent attendance
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in primary Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • 80-85% field work inspections and inspection entry
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Respirator fit test upon hire- clean shaven face required (mustache okay!)
  • Background check, drug screen and physical- required
