Job summary

Tanknology, a fast-growing leader in the petroleum services industry, is seeking an experienced Compliance Field Technician Apprentice to learn via an apprenticeship until certified. You will work on site testing, installing, and repairing equipment, while recording results in TANCS and reporting to the Operations team.

Strong mechanical aptitude and a safety-first attitude are required, along with willingness to travel across multiple states, with overnight stays as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test, background, physical, and MVR checks.
• Willing to travel across multiple states with overnight stays.
• Mechanical aptitude with trades experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site assessments and surveys.
• Perform leak tests on fuel storage tanks and piping systems.
• Install equipment and test tank gauge systems.
• Enter and analyze test results, communicating findings to the Operations team.
• Manage and report inventory of parts and supplies on your company vehicle.
