Job summary

PwrQ Holdings LLC in Hanover, MD is seeking a Compliance Engineer to provide regulatory expertise for low/medium voltage power distribution equipment and control systems. You will support pre-sales, estimating, engineering, manufacturing and field services by ensuring UL/IEC/IEEE/NEC compliance and by building robust technical files and test reports.

The role partners with design engineers to embed compliance into specifications, coordinate third-party certifications, and manage risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of engineering experience in compliance, regulatory, or quality roles.
• Experience supporting product development, manufacturing, and testing to meet regulatory and customer requirements.
• Knowledge of UL, IEC, IEEE, NEC, and other codes.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and apply electrical and product safety standards to new and existing products.
• Prepare and manage documentation for regulatory submissions and third-party certifications.
• Coordinate product testing with external labs and certification bodies.
• Maintain compliance documentation and change-control records.
• Travel up to 15% to support testing and compliance activities.
