Job summary

Global Connect Technologies in Wisconsin seeks a Senior Compliance Engineer with deep hands-on experience in UL 1741, NRTL certification, and regulatory compliance to lead product safety programs.

You will work with cross-functional teams on certification projects for renewable energy products and power electronics, ensuring adherence to UL, CSA, TÜV and international standards.

Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with UL 1741.
Experience with NRTL certification programs and compliance testing.
Knowledge of UL 9540/9540A, UL 1998, UL 991, IEEE 1547, CSA C22.2, IEC 62109, IEC 62477.
Experience with electrical schematics, protection systems, and control architectures.
Experience with UL, CSA, TÜV, or other NRTL organizations.
Background in power electronics, power conversion, renewable energy, BESS, solar inverters, EV charging, UPS, or motor drives.
FCC/EMC compliance experience is a plus.
Strong experience in certification project management, risk analysis, and corrective actions.
8+ years of experience in product compliance, certification, regulatory engineering, or safety engineering.
