Mutual 1st Federal Credit Union in Omaha, NE is seeking a detail oriented, driven leader to join our leadership team as Compliance & Deposit Operations Manager. The role oversees day-to-day deposit operations, account openings, and internal audit activities to mitigate risk.

As BSA Officer, you will manage the BSA/AML program, work with management to ensure regulatory compliance, and lead fraud investigations and training.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent certifications recognized in the industry.
• Ability to motivate and influence others.
• Knowledge of Credit Union Law and Regulations.
• Knowledge of electronic banking equipment, video security systems, and transfer technology.
• Ability to coach and train staff and managers.
• Solid knowledge of financial concepts, products, and services.
• Professional verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME support to managers to resolve operational questions on core systems and products (including deposits, account opening, ITM, online/mobile banking).
• Partner with executives on product development, service enhancements, risk management, and process improvement.
• Lead defined operational initiatives and projects with end-to-end execution for on-time delivery.
• As BSA Officer, implement BSA/AML policies and FinCEN filings including CTRs and SARs.
• Ensure compliance with Federal and State laws and coordinate with external auditors/regulators.
• Coordinate compliance training and internal audit protocols.
• Investigate time-sensitive internal/external fraud cases and provide training and prevention resources.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
